Fire Reflection (by Jay Lister)

This is the reflection of the fire on the side of the car. I thought it was kinda of cool… but then again, I had had maybe 6 or 7 beers by that point, so anything would be considered cool!

Again, more amazing colours. There was so much that was eye catching that it’s almost unfortunate that I was with friends and constantly distracted, else I certainly would have taken several more pictures. As is, I took just over 300 the day/night before my camera took that dunk in the river.

Got a light? (by Jay Lister)

We first saw that flame from far away from the highway coming into Quebec. I have a few bad pictures of it from the car, but I was able to grab this photo on our walk around Old Quebec. My guess is that it’s some sort of refinery. Anyone out there know what it’s from?

Nothing too great about this photo, its just a bunch of kids reenacting a war (don’t ask me which).. but as we continued walking I noticed the car just parked there with a driver in it, seemingly waiting to run over everyone… well at least that’s how the “war” played out in my head. I wanted blood. Plus I couldn’t help but yell out “The red coats are coming!” at least once or twice!

It is a refinery.. In St-Romuald. One of my aunta used to live 5 minutes away from there. I remember as a kid when we went on holiday to visit her I was scared thinking “what if the refinery blows up? we’re dead! we’re so close!” :P

    Thanks Christelle! :)
It does look like a violent place with that flame constantly shooting up, I think it would have freaked me out too as a kid.
